We recommend using Azul Zulu since it is open-source, easy to implement, and uses the latest versions of OpenJDK JRE. GroupID doesn’t require the Oracle-based JRE and we can easily switch to any OpenJDK-based JRE. Oracle requires paid upgrades to update to the latest JRE for commercial use. GroupID10 is shipped with an old version of Oracle Java Runtime Environment (JRE), which is vulnerable to security risk.
